Handmade Products
Are all MyEpoxyWay creations handmade?
Yes. Every MyEpoxyWay creation is individually handcrafted in Portugal by our small family business. We do not mass-produce our pieces. Each handmade creation may feature its own colour patterns, reflections, and artistic details.
Are all products exactly like the photos?
No. Each piece is handmade, so small variations in colour, transparency, reflections, bubbles, and finish may occur. These natural differences are part of the handmade process and make every creation unique.
Why can I see small bubbles inside the resin?
Small bubbles may occasionally appear during the resin casting process. They are part of the handmade nature of resin art and do not affect the beauty, durability, or functionality of the piece.
Where are the products made?
All MyEpoxyWay pieces are handmade in Portugal.
Snail & Mushroom Lamps
Is the wooden LED base included?
Yes. All mushroom and snail lamps include the wooden LED base shown in the product photos, unless otherwise stated.
Is the resin piece attached to the LED base?
It depends on the model. Mushroom lamps are designed to fit into the LED base. Snail lamps rest on the wooden LED base and are not permanently fixed.
Can I use the resin piece without the LED base?
Yes. The resin snail or mushroom can be displayed as a decorative sculpture without the LED base, or placed on the base to create a soft ambient light.
How is the lamp powered?
Our lamps are USB powered and include a USB-A cable with an on/off switch. Simply connect the cable to a USB power source. A USB power adapter is not included.
What type of light does the lamp create?
The light shines through the resin, creating a soft decorative glow. Depending on the product option, the light may be Warm White, White Light, or Colour Changing.
Which light option should I choose?
Warm White creates a cosy and gentle atmosphere. White Light gives a clearer and more neutral glow. Colour Changing allows you to switch between colours using the button on the cable, when available.
Are the lamps fragile?
Our resin lamps should be handled with care. Although resin is durable, each piece is handmade and decorative, so it should be protected from drops, strong impacts, scratches, and harsh cleaning products.
Resin Rings
Are the resin rings comfortable for daily wear?
Yes. Our resin rings are lightweight and designed for everyday wear. However, as handmade resin jewellery, they should be handled with care and protected from strong impacts, scratches, and harsh chemicals.
How do I choose my ring size?
Please check the ring size guide in the product images. Because our rings have a wider design, we recommend choosing half a size larger if you are between sizes.
Can resin rings get scratched?
Yes. Resin can develop small scratches over time, especially with daily use. To keep your ring looking its best, avoid contact with abrasive surfaces, harsh chemicals, alcohol, perfumes, and cleaning products.
Personalised & Decorative Pieces
Do you create personalised resin pieces?
Yes. Some MyEpoxyWay creations can be personalised, depending on the design, colours, name, age, message, or occasion. Availability depends on the product and current workload.
Can I request a piece for a special occasion?
Yes. Personalised decorative pieces may be created for birthdays, gifts, nursery décor, keepsakes, or other special moments, depending on availability and design complexity.
Are personalised pieces exactly the same as previous designs?
No. Personalised pieces are handmade and may vary slightly in colour, resin details, placement, and finish. These differences are part of the handmade process and make each piece unique.
Are personalised pieces returnable?
Personalised or custom-made items cannot usually be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Care & Cleaning
How should I clean the resin piece?
Clean the resin piece gently with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive materials, alcohol, solvents, or harsh chemical products.
How should I clean the wooden LED base?
The wooden LED base should only be cleaned with a dry cloth. It is not waterproof and should not come into contact with water or humidity.
Can I place the resin piece on the LED base while it is wet?
No. Please make sure the resin piece is completely dry before placing it on the wooden LED base.
Orders & Production
How long does production take?
Production time may vary depending on the product and current order volume. Ready-to-ship pieces are usually prepared faster, while made-to-order or customised creations may require additional time. The estimated preparation time is shown on each product page whenever applicable.
Can I request custom colours?
Custom colour options may be available for selected products. If customisation is available, it will be shown on the product page or can be discussed before ordering.
What materials do you use?
We use high-quality epoxy resin, wooden LED bases, low-consumption LED lighting, and carefully selected decorative materials. The materials used may vary depending on the type of product.
What should I do if my item arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the product, the packaging, and the damage. This helps us assess the situation and find the best solution.
